  • 1 / CAN CV BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT COMPETITIONS?

    There is the possibility of spontaneous application on different communication channels and the transmission of a CV to the attention of North-East RDA from those interested. These applications will enter the records of the Office of Human Resources, but, given the selection by competition and the need to prepare a complete application file, it is the obligation of those interested to constantly follow the Agency’s website, publishing announcements and, depending on the interest, to prepare and submit at the appropriate time a complete file, according to the specifications of the employment announcement, in order to participate in the contest.

  • 2 / WHAT DOES THE JOB ADVERTISEMENT CONTAIN?

    The employment / recruitment announcement contains all the data regarding the organization of a contest within the North-East RDA, as follows: number of available positions and duration of the contract, specific requirements for registration, contest tests, content of the contest registration file, end date related to the recruitment and selection process, bibliography for the contest, other organizational details. If you want to participate in the contest, we recommend that you read the job advertisement carefully, so that you can have all the necessary information in time in this context.

  • 3 / WHAT ARE AND WHAT CONTAIN THE TESTS OF AN EMPLOYMENT COMPETITION?

    In general, the employment competition within the North-East RDA includes 4 tests:

    // written test of knowledge from the bibliography for the competition (the bibliography is published on the site, together with the employment announcement); depending on the job, this test can be designed as a multiple choice test, or a classic open-ended test, or a combination of these;

    // written test in a foreign language (usually English); this test usually includes the request to translate a specialized text from Romanian into English, but can be adapted according to the specifics of the job;

    // practical test on computer operating knowledge; is a test that is carried out in order to verify the practical skills of using the computer, especially for Word and Excel; this test will be adapted according to the specifics of the position;

    // interview / CV analysis; is an in-depth discussion between the contest participants and the members of the Examination Commission, in order to clarify the aspects related to the abilities, competencies, motivation and human typology of the candidates.

    Depending on the complexity of the job, the tests can be adapted to obtain a comprehensive and objective assessment of the knowledge, skills and competencies of the participants.

  • 4 / WHAT DOES THE CONTEST REGISTRATION FILE CONTAIN?

    The contest registration file usually includes the following documents:

    // application for contest (the model is attached to the contest announcement);

    // CV (Europass format) – please make sure that you have provided in this document a valid telephone number and a correct e-mail address, in order to make the communication process between the candidates and the Agency more efficient;

    // copy of the bachelor’s degree, respectively copies for other courses / professional training / diplomas and relevant supporting documents that can prove the studies carried out by the candidate;

    // copy of the identity card,

    // original criminal record, or statement on one’s own responsibility regarding the lack of criminal record.

  • 5 / IS THE CVS PRE-SELECTED BEFORE THE EMPLOYMENT CONTEST?

    Depending on the specifics of the positions and their number, there is the possibility of organizing the competition with the pre-selection phase of the candidacies. This aspect will be clearly presented through the employment announcement, being detailed the methodology followed and the terms allocated to the pre-selection. No appeals can be submitted for the pre-selection process.

  • 6 / CAN THE APPLICATION FILE FOR THE CONTEST BE WITHDRAWN IF I HAVE NOT BEEN DECLARED AN ADMITTED CANDIDATE?

    No, the competition file cannot be withdrawn. It will remain in the Agency’s records. The only document in the competition registration file that candidates can get back is the original criminal record.

  • 7 / CAN I CHOOSE MORE OPTIONS FOR THE POSITIONS PUT UP FOR COMPETITION?

    Yes, there is this possibility, if the person meets the registration criteria required in the job advertisement. In this situation, a single registration file is drawn up, but the registration application will clearly specify the positions to be opted for.

    However, depending on the specifics of the positions, there is the possibility that the subjects in the competition will be different for different positions, and the tests will take place simultaneously, which will determine implicitly for candidates with multiple options, the possibility of competing for a single position.

    We recommend all candidates to carefully analyze the content of the job advertisement, the job-specific criteria and to apply for the position that best suits their personal skills and competencies, in order to maximize the chances of success in the competition.

  • 8 / WHERE DO THE EMPLOYMENT CONTEST TAKE PLACE AND HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

    Usually, the employment contests take place at the headquarters of North-East RDA from Piatra Neamt, Lt. Draghescu street, no. 9. Depending on the number of candidates and the type of tests, there is the possibility that some of the written tests will take place in other more generous locations in space, in Piatra Neamt, but this aspect will be announced in due course on the Agency’s website.

  • 9 / WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN ALL THE TESTS OF THE CONTEST?

    If a candidate does not appear at all the exams of the contest as announced, they will be declared Absent on the final lists of the contest. The candidate who does not show up to take a test in the competition, will not be able to be rescheduled for another time, in order to run that test in the competition.

    Due to the large number of registered candidates, most of the times, the competitions carried out by the Agency last for several days, according to the plans made by the Human Resources Office. This aspect is communicated specifically to the candidates, by electronic means (e-mail, or announcement on the Agency’s website).

  • 10 / HOW ARE THE FINAL RESULTS TRANSMITTED TO THE CONTEST PARTICIPANTS? CAN APPEALS BE FILED?

    In order to ensure the observance of the requirements regarding the protection of personal data, the final results of the contest will be displayed at the institution’s headquarters and will include only the name and surname of the candidate and the mention Admitted / Rejected / Absent. Also, all candidates present at the competition, regardless of the result obtained, will be informed by e-mail.

    Appeals regarding the result of the contest can be submitted within 24 hours from the display of the final results, in the form of a written request initiated by the candidate and submitted in time to the secretariat of the institution.
