The value of European funds administrated by the North-East Regional Development Agency (NE RDA), since founding up to date, was of Euro 125 million (the total value of the grants). As a result of the financing programmes implemented through North-East RDA’s support there were over 5,000 new jobs created and additional 3,000 persons were trained and qualified.
North-East RDA contributed to the implementation of 572 projects which, depending on the type of the beneficiary, were structured as following:

118 projects implemented for developing the infrastructure, social services and vocational and technical education system.
454 projects intended for improving the business environment and professional training structures (both public and private).

By observing the implementation rules and procedures North-East RDA achieved an average absorption percentage of the funds allocated to the region of over 85% (from both Phare Economic-Social Cohesion Programmes and National Fund for Regional Development); as an example, the Agency attracted more than 33% of the total funds made available at national level through Phare ESC Regional Infrastructure Programmes.
