The Importance of Partnerships
Forming partnerships is one of the key objectives of the Regional Development Agency, and one of the best ways of identifying and resolving problems.
The Regional Development Plan 2007-2013 was elaborated between March 2004 - February 2005, in agreement with the timetable set out by the Ministry of European Integration and the Ministry of Public Finance.
The North-East RDP 2007-2013 was completed through a large partnership, structured on three levels:
- The North-East Regional Committee for Planning (NE RCP)
- Regional Thematic Working Groups
- County Thematic Working Groups
These groups considered the following themes:
- Infrastructure development and environment protection
- Business environment development
- Human resources and social services development
- Tourism development
- Rural areas development and agriculture modernization
Each of the working groups considered the region's problems and came up with a number of preliminary solutions, which were later incorporated into the Regional Development Plan.
An important stage in the 2007-2013 programming process was the approval of the North-East RDP 2007-2013 project by the North-East Regional Committee for Planning, 10th of February 2005 and by the North-East Regional Development Board, 7th March 2006.
The result of these efforts is the final version of the 2007-2013 Regional Development Plan, that you are welcome to consult click here.
